The Big One!

We’re getting close to this year’s “Big One” Art Up PhinneyWood Art Walk!

This year our artist is Alex Achaval. We’ve had his art work hanging before, at our old Sugarcomb location.
Alex does really cool abstract and surreal paintings, and we’re really looking forward to seeing new work from him.
We hope you’ll join us on Friday, May 8th, from 6 to 9 pm!

See you there!

February Art Walk this Friday

It’s that time again!

Join us this coming Friday, February 13th from 6-9 pm for some wine and photography at the ArtUp PhinneyWood Art walk.
Featuring the photography of Hailey Hayes.

Hailey’s photographs of “A Women and Her Purse” are pretty cool and look great hanging on our walls, so come on in and check it out!

December Phinneywood ArtUp Art Walk

Please join us this Friday, December 12th, for a very special art walk!
All art at this month’s Art Walk will be made by local children. Kids will be hanging art and/or performing for the December 12th Art Walk at Salon Mercury. A percentage of art sales will benefit the writing and tutoring center, 826 Seattle/Greenwood Space Travel Supply.
This is the time for all of our brilliant and talented children to shine and share their talents and creativity for a great cause.

Happy Almost Halloween!

It’s really beginning to look a lot like Fall out there, just in time for all the fun Halloween events.

Just one week from today is the Hunger Goblin Daylight Safe Trick Or Treat – we’ll be handing out candy and checking out all the kids (and adults!) in their super awesome costumes!

Please be aware that Isabella will be handing out candy, and so will not be taking haircut appointments from noon on that day.

Also, please be aware that Sean will not be in the salon on Thursday, October 23rd through Saturday, October 25th, as he will be out of town.

October Events

Happy Fall, everyone! We’re still enjoying the summery weather, but looking forward to our Autumn events.

Next week on Friday, October 10th is the monthly Art Walk from 6-9. Come join us to meet artist Pam Randall, and see her mixed media collage art featuring the Seattle skyline.

We are also planning in participating in the Greenwood/ Phinney Daylight Safe Trick or Treat event, Hunger Goblin’.
This is a popular annual event along the Greenwood/Phinney corridor – costumed children are welcome from 12-3 pm on Saturday, October 25th for daytime trick or treating.

Next month we’ll be busy getting ready for the holidays!
